The village and its surroundings :

Our B&B is located in Caux, next to the main square. Caux is an old medieval village built in a circle. The center has just been restored and one can admire beautiful houses from the XVIIth century. The village is only five kilometers from Pézenas, a very nice town where Molière lived in the XVIIth century, with old streets and handcraft shops.
Caux is nicely situated to discover the wonders of our countryside : lakes of Salagou and Olivettes, Saint Guilhem le Désert, les Gorges de l’Hérault, the Mediterranean garden of Roquebrun and of course the famous viaduc of Millau (only 50 minutes drive from here).
Our village is surrounded by vineyards. Wine amateurs can taste the different wines from the region : vins de pays de Caux, Faugères, Saint Chinian, Picpoul de Pinet and many more.
Fine sand beaches and the well-known seaside resort Cap d’Agde are only 25 minutes from Caux.
From the village, many activities are possible such as : walking, cycling, climbing, canoeing, driving around on a motorbike, etc…
